Then you won't struggle trying to get your Sim happy while maintaining a social life. It will take longer, but for at least one semester, take a really like workload.

When you take four courses, you will not be able to do anything. So if you want to experience University and really not be stressed during it, shut off againg as you go through University. But University really isn't designed to be done so quickly. I need to play with aging on because I need Sims to weave in and out of my experience. But I ignored the common area, which was my own fault.Ģ. On my last day of my first Sim's experience, I found the common area had food readily available. I was initially freaking out because how was my Sim going to get food?! The Microwave? Ew. I didn't know I didn't need a stove for University. There is food for students in the common areas. But from playing this last time, I can say what I've learned and what helped me.ġ. Granted, I often felt like taking care of a Sim even without University could be a chore (and often felt like I couldn't get them to do anything). I couldn't do a skill, do a task, and go to work like I used to. You can't cook in them, so the first Sim I ever went into University with was always upset about food quality.īut all of this was terrible because I had to shift my method of play. I got sub-par grades, was just struggling to survive the workload and making sure my Sim didn't die.Īnd again, the dorms are awful.

When I first tried University, it was awful. This makes the experience a grind, as you've said.

I also agree that if you take a full course load of 4 classes, whether because you think you need to by default or because you want to finish in three weeks, you won't be able to do anything else. Anything short of having an immortal Sim, or playing with aging off, it feels like your Sims life is just plan too short. If you play with aging, it is downright awful. I just went through University, and have to slightly disagree with you. Who looked at this and said "Yeah! This is some good stuff."? I can't believe this garbage got approval from EA. It's such a waste of a good concept that could have been fun and added a lot to the sims4 world. The whole pack is just an unnecessary pain that adds nothing beneficial to the game. This is all annoying and it would be nice if it was worth it but.ĥ)The payout is lackluster: Seriously? All this effort and all you get is a stupid few advancements in career and a bonus? You'd be better off just improving your sims performance from home. Constant negative moodlets from roommates. Dorms are filled with junk food from cooking sims that if not eaten or put away are just left rotting on the floor. Bikes are nice addition but they act quirky. They offer bikes for purchase but they mostly seem to not want to use them and seems like a struggle to even manually get them to ride. You could go to schooling from your household but the fun of living on campus is a large part of why you would buy the pack but.Ĥ)Campus is poorly designed and not optimum: The classes are literally too far to make it there on time unless you manually have the go nearby early. They will put in average effort and get an average or below grade. It wouldn't be too bad if you could take a break but.ģ)Can't play any of your other households while a sim is in uni: I mean you could but unlike the rest of the world the sims life in uni is not put on hold. Meanwhile your sim will be neglected and fat because they can't eat anything but junk food and there is no time to work off the calories or take care of self needs. In this time it will be a frantic mad dash to get everything done. You could take less classes but that brings me to my next point.Ģ)Takes too long: You can choose to take 1-4 classes per term but with the maximum amount of classes you will be at university for 3 whole sims weeks to earn all the credits needed. It's just a grind because you have no time to really do any of the events and side tasks or socialize on campus.
